This policy explains how GCExperts LLC handles personal information on fcexperts.com, the FCEXperts site for federal-contracting training and expertise. We have kept it in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, email [email protected].

1. Who is responsible

GCExperts LLC is the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at [email protected] for any privacy request.

2. What we collect

• Account details: the email address you register with and a hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
• Membership records: whether a membership is active and the Stripe session reference for the payment. Card numbers are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach us.
• Technical and security data: a session cookie, hashed IP addresses used for abuse and rate limiting, and consent records.
• Communications: messages you send to support.

3. Market data is not personal data

The spending figures across the market intelligence hub come from USAspending.gov, the U.S. government's public contract-spending dataset. That data is about contracts and agencies, not about you. Reading the hub does not require an account and does not create a profile of you.

4. Why we use it

We use your information to create and secure your account, deliver the training and member briefings you paid for, process payments, respond to you, meet legal and accounting obligations, and keep the service safe from abuse.

5. Sharing

We share personal information only with the processors that run the service: Stripe for payments, our email delivery provider for transactional mail such as password resets, and our hosting infrastructure. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We disclose information to authorities only where the law requires it.

6. Cookies and analytics

We set one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. It is required for the service to work and it is set whether or not you interact with the consent banner. For measurement we use Google Analytics with Consent Mode: analytics cookies are denied by default and only granted if you choose “Allow analytics”. Until you grant it, Google receives only cookieless, aggregated measurement, and our configuration asks Google to anonymise IP addresses. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the stored choice in your browser.

7. Retention

We keep account and membership records while your account is open and for as long afterwards as tax and accounting rules require. Support messages are kept for up to two years. Consent and rate-limit records are kept briefly for security and compliance. Password-reset links expire after 60 minutes and become unusable after a single use.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, and to receive a portable copy. Email [email protected] and we will action a valid request within the time the law allows. We will not charge you or degrade your service for exercising a right.

California (CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request its deletion or correction, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising; the only sharing described in section 5 is with service providers that run the site. European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR). If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you have the rights above plus the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our lawful bases for processing are performance of a contract (delivering the account and membership you request), our legitimate interests (securing the service and preventing abuse), and consent (optional analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time). 9. Children

FCEXperts is a professional service for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we will delete it if we learn we have.

10. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed with a modern algorithm, sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies, and access to the database is restricted. No system is perfect; if we ever suffer a breach affecting your data, we will tell you as the law requires.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
