Accessibility statement
GCExperts LLC wants every visitor to be able to read the federal market data and use the training on fcexperts.com, with or without assistive technology. This statement describes our target, how we test, and how to tell us about a barrier.
Our target
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means
semantic landmarks and headings in order, exactly one main heading per page, a skip link, form
fields with programmatic labels, keyboard-reachable controls with a visible focus ring, colour
contrast chosen for readability rather than decoration, layouts that reflow to 375px, and full
support for the prefers-reduced-motion setting.
Data accessibility
The market intelligence tables use real table markup with captions and header cells, so screen readers can associate each figure with its column and row. Figures are also described in the page text, so the analysis does not depend on seeing the table. No chart or colour alone carries meaning.
What we test
- Keyboard-only navigation of every page and form.
- Heading order and landmark structure on each page.
- Contrast of text and interactive elements across the palette.
- Reflow and zoom at 375px wide and at 200% zoom.
- Cookie consent that defaults to strictly-necessary cookies only.
Conformance status
We aim for full conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. At the time of this review the site meets the Level AA success criteria we are able to test. We do not claim perfection: we test continuously, and where a gap appears we treat it as a defect and fix it rather than describing it away.
How we assess the site
- Automated contrast and structure checks on every released page.
- Keyboard-only passes through every interactive control, including the consent banner and forms.
- Screen-reader checks on the market intelligence tables and the account pages.
- Reflow and zoom testing at a 375px viewport and at 200% zoom.
Known limitations
We review accessibility as the site changes and we do not claim perfection. If you hit a barrier, it is a bug we want to fix, not something you should work around.
Feedback
Accessibility reports go to the top of our queue. When you tell us about a problem, we tell you what we changed and when it shipped. Recent fixes have included table header associations on the data views and a larger focus ring on the header navigation.
Tell us
Email [email protected] with the page and a short description of the problem. We aim to reply within two business days and, where we cannot fix the issue immediately, we will provide what you need in another format. You can also reach the operator, GCExperts LLC, at the same address.
